Merry Christmas!!!
I know you might get whiplash from going from mister creepy down there, to this, but oh well. This is another piece I did while in school. I was at a loss about what to do for one of my illustration classes, and it was Christmas time, so I thought, why not just set up a Christmas still-life, paint it, and call it a Christmas card... and that's what I did. So here we are today; I'm at a loss about what I should post on my blog, it's Christmas time again, so why not dig up my old Christmas card painting and call it good... so that's what I've done. My mom loves it! This is oil on canvas, for those who care.

Baron Friedrich Von Ghoulsmire III
This is a happy little painting I did for the Avalanche Art Blog art challenge. This is my first attempt at a digital portrait, and I guess you could say I'm somewhat pleased with the way it turned out... kinda, sorta. When it comes to drawing and painting like this, my biggest weakness is character design. It's definitely something I need to work on. I'm just not very good at drawing from my imagination. Ah well, I just need to practice more, and what better way to practice than by drawing things to post on my blog.

LIfe Drawing Dump
These drawings were all done at the company life-drawing sessions. Each one is a three-hour sitting. Well, by the time you get everybody together, get the model posed and the lighting set up, it really ends up being a two-hour sitting. We just recently started the life-drawing sessions back up again at work, which is a good thing. I desperately need the practice.
